Hi! I’m Nicolette.

I’m a mom, spouse, artist, & designer.

I love mountains, travel, vivid color, black coffee, surrealism, mythology, illustration, and causes that support equity.

I’ve been committed to creating art in various media since roughly 1997. I graduated high school in 99 and went to Australia for about 3 months with a friend. We travelled around the east coast between Sydney and Brisbane. It was in Australia that I fell in love with writing, dance, and commuter trains. I went to college for a year at Naropa University in Boulder, CO. There I studied writing and dance. I later finished my degree in sculpture (after a few years dabbling in geology) at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. So…all the things! I am an unabashed, maximalist, multi-potentialite.

I am technically self-taught in design but pulled much from my experience in art and that one semester of graphic design I took before Australia. I taught myself many Adobe applications, web design platforms, and marketing strategies through several years of building a business selling my art.

I loved editing my art website so much that my friends started asking me to design for them and now, thanks to them, I have a full-blown Squarespace & graphic design business.
